Savanna - Ralph Raymond Mummert of rural Savanna died Sunday morning at Savanna City Hospital.

Born Feb 23, 1897 in Freedom Township, Carroll County, IL he was the son of Jerome and Grace (Dixon) Mummert. He married Alice Keeley on Feb 22, 1927 at Mt. Carroll.

Surviving are his widow, Alice, a daughter, Mrs. Bryl (Joan) Cousins of East Moline, two grandchildren, Linda Cousins of California and Barbara Cousins of Korea (USAF), a great grandchild, a brother, Glenn of Mt. Carroll; and a sister, Mrs. Lula Jacobs of Pearl City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, in Frank Funeral Home, Mt. Carroll. The Rev. Tony Hawkins, Paster of Mt. Carroll United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton, IA.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
