Death of Walter Dyson

Last Friday Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Dyson received a telegram from Blythville, Ark., stating that their son was dead. Their son Robert left the same evening, returning with the body Sunday night over the C. B. & Q.

Walter was taken sick with Malaria, dying from a congestive chill, after a four days illness.

W. S. Dyson was born October 1897 at Thomson Illinois, died at Blytheville, Arkansas, Oct 25 1922 at the age of 35 years. He was united in marriage January 27, 1900 to Miss Rose Martindale to this union was born ten children six sons and four daughters one son passing away in infancy.

At the age of 13 years he united with the Christian church at Thomson Ill., and was baptized by the Rev. Mrs. Clara Babcock, pastor at that time. He leaves to mourn his departure his aged parents, one sister Mrs. Cora Meddles of Vermillion S. D. two brothers Robert and Harry both of Thomson Ill.

The funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 at the home and 2 o'clock at the Christian church Rev G.E. Scheerer of Fulton officiating with interment in the Dunshee cemetery.
