According to Charles Swisegood <chascher@winco.net>,  Henry was born Johann Heinrich Schweissguth on February 2, 1820 in Ober-Ofleiden, Ober Hessen, now Germany. He married Kathrin Sauer om Klein Lunda, Germany. The Henry and Katherine tombstone fits this couple.

Charles publishes a newsletter - Schweissguth Historical Society News. He says, "About 50 of us worldwide exchange bits of information and this is the medium we use. Not all of us are online.
