This picture is dated 03 May 1949. (You can click on it to see a much larger image.) Also noted on the back of the photo is "Jane age 10; Sharon age 8" Jane Hatheway was my mother-in-law. She is in the second row from the top, the last one holding an accordion. I'm not sure who Sharon is although I have a few other pictures of her. Can anyone tell us who the others in the photo are and what the group is? Jane would have still been going to St. John's and I don't think this is the music or band class. There are a few photos of Jane at a place called "Egyptian Band Camp". Does anyone know what that is/was and where? |
