LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

Know All Men By These Presents: That I, Stephen Chapman of Jefferson City, County of Cole and State of Missouri, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and declare this to be my last will and testament.-
To my children, Clarence L. Chapman, Olive V. C. Jamison, Donald R. Chapman and Nelle M.C. Jobs, each, I give and bequeath the sum of one dollar.
To my wife Nancy Jane Chapman I give, devise and bequeath all the residue and remainder of my property, real personal or mixed.
I hereby appoint and designate my wife, Nancy Jane Chapman, executrix of this, my last will and testament, and request that the court to which this will may be presented for probate, do no require her to enter into bond in any sum for the execution hereof.
In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal Done at the City of Jefferson in the State of Missouri, this 12th day of December, A.D. 1900.

At the instance and request of the testator Stephen Chapman we have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the foregoing will, in the presence of said testator and in the presence of each other, this 12th day of December 1900.

County of- Cole In the- Probate -Court of Cole County Missouri
BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this -8th -day of-June -, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and- Fourteen, before me -Jno. E. Garman, Judge - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for -Cole County -and State of Missouri, personally appeared -Jesse W. Henry and Kate M. Henry - who being duly sworn upon - their -oath, depose- - and say- -that -they -w - ere - present and saw - Stephen Chapman - sign the foregoing instrument, of date -December 12th - 19 -00 - purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of h -im - the said -Stephen Chapman - and heard -him -publish and declare the same to be h - is - Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said -Stephen Chapman -was of sound and disposing mind, and that th -e - deponent -s - and -Jesse W. Henry and Kate M. Henry - other attesting witness -es - subscribed their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat -or - and of each other, and at the request of the said testat - or- who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so declaring and signing said instrument.

Tucker, Judge - of the-Probate-Court-Stoddard -County, Missouri, having examined the foregoing instrument purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of -Stephen Chapman - deceased, and signed by said -Stephen Chapman - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County,- -and having heard the testimony of -Jesse W. Henry - and -Kate M. Henry - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument - - the Last Will and Testament of said - Stephen Chapman - deceased, and the same is therefore -admitted to Probate.

LETTERS TESTAMENTARY
STATE OF MISSOURI
County of-Stoddard
To all to Whom these Presents shall come--GREETING:
Know Ye, That the last will and testament of -Stephen Chapman - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of the -Judge - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that -Nancy Jane Chapman - ha -s - been appointed execut -rix - in and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein, and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize - her - the said - Nancy Jane Chapman - as such Execut-rix -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said - Stephen Chapman - at the time of h - is - death, in whosoever hands or possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon - her - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the law charge -her - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be hereafter required of -her - by law.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I - Wm. L. Tucker, Judge - of the Probate Court in and for said County, have hereunto signed my name and affixed the seal of the said Court at office in-Bloomfield, Mo.-this -10th - day of -June -, A.D. 19-14
